I am Mike C. Nichols and am an artist focused mainly on songwriting and photography. Of course, with the songwriting, I love to play and sing music. I play several instruments, including guitar, piano, harmonica. Lately, I have really focused on my photography. I am originally from a suburb of Atlanta, GA but have moved up to the mountains of southwest Virginia. Since being up here, I have explored black & white and color photography trying to make the area here and surrounding areas (western North Carolina) come alive through images. Though I have focused on my photography more than songwriting as of late, I have recently finished an album recorded at home. Apart from the "artsy" stuff in my life, I also love hiking, camping, & the outdoors (obviously). Most of all, I love my wife, my daughter and the time we all share together.

Brandy and I had our first child on 10/27/08. We are blessed with a little girl whom we have named Willow Anne. I'm sure there is a mention of her or a photo of her in one of the top few entries!
